Which yet-to-be-released movie are you excited to see?

For now, I am most excited to see Ironman. I am not a big ironman fan and I don't have an inkling of the background story from the comic. A close friend told me that he was disappointed with the teaser of the movie because from it you've pretty much glimpsed what the movie is all about. (and he was a big fan) Well, we'll see. I might enjoy it nevertheless. I'll post my review once I get to watch it.

It's now official, come midnight I will start a new chapter of my life. t's something that has been on the back of my head for a while now and it's been brewing for quite some time. When I wake up tomorrow, it'll be the start of a new me. Well not really that different from who I am but hopefully a much better and improved one. I have delayed doing it and well I think it's the right time for me to finally take the big jump. Well, here's a toast to my new life. Cheers!

I'm learning a new language! 2 new languages to be exact! There's nothing I love more than a challenge and it's gonna be an effort balancing my workloads and squeezing in a little extra time to study. Hopefully in 2 months i would have shown progress. Where there's a will there's a way right? Well here goes...

I went to the beach last weekend at Virgin Beach Resort located at Laiya, San Juan, Batangas. It was the break from work that I needed. The sand was not as white as Boracay's and not as fine but it was nice anyway. There weren't as much people there as I previously expected considering it was the height of summer season, maybe because the resort had such steep rates. If you were looking for a place where you need peace and quiet, I'd definitely recommend this beach. It would be nice just to be there with your special someone too because you'll get to spend quality time with each other but in my case, I was there with my friends. I had fun though. There was no night life there. The resort had policies on making the place as quiet as possible (no karaokes, no loud noises). We spent the night cooped up in a parasol talking about life, love and our work related frustrations.

That's me with the beach ball. This photo was taken before we rode the boat that was going to take us to the next island. These are my colleagues...from the left is Ms. Malou (can't forget that she really worked hard to get a tan), Ma'am Hannah (she's my boss), Arne (my junior designer...this girl and I have a lot in common and I really enjoy teaching her everything I know) and of course there's me.

I have such fond memories from this trip...looking forward to the next one.

The clock now reads 1:19am and I've been up since 5 this morning, I still am in front of my pc and working my butt off. It's a Sunday (well technically it's now Monday morning) and I haven't had a moment's rest. Lately I have fallen into a really hectic schedule, managing several interior projects at once.

I feel like I'm living a double life, one as a designer for my boss's firm and one as my own boss for my freelance ventures. I do get tired and I do need a break.
Deadlines keep popping up. I'm really looking forward to going to the beach by the end of the week. Maybe there I can get some much needed R&R.

Ho-humm. I'm getting sleepy. Time to refill my coffee cup again.

The first time I tried this game out on my PSP, I was instantly hooked. Why? Firstly, the simple graphics was very appealing. I mean, who can resist those cute little eyeballs? Hehehe The vector style graphics was definitely refreshing from the near-realistically rendered graphics of the games I was playing. Second, the gameplay style was very simple and yet very innovative. It's rhythm-based and you will always find me playing it with my earphones on, and with my head and feet tapping to the beat. Lastly, this game never becomes boring because there are countless secrets that you will have to discover.

There is also the challenge of raising a formidable patapon army, one that can take on countless monsters with just a few strikes. I'm still in the process of tweaking mine. Spending countless hours doing the hunting quests so that I can make the ideal patapon unit with my hard-earned ka-chings.

I love, love this game. I really hope they come up with a sequel, it will be worth waiting for. I wouldn't mind spending a few more hours of my life bashing zigotons and battling desert creatures. For anyone who has a psp, this game is really worth a try.

I'm drawing again! Yay! It's been years since I've actually drawn an interior perspective (on a 15" x 20" watercolor paper mind you) again using freehand. After taking my board exams, I've practiced interior design using AutoCAD and when I learned how, generated perspectives using 3ds Max. For starters, revisions with Cad and Max are so easy since I don't have to redo the whole thing. Recently, we joined a design competition that required us to render manually...hence I found the joy to drawing and sketching once again. You should see my artist bag, I've recently collected all my drawing materials and sketch pads and organized them in one bag. That should get the artist in me creative once again.
