These are the best looking, most creative and cutest cupcakes I could find on Flickr. Looking at these actually inspires me to take up baking lessons. Hmmmm, now that's an idea...maybe cupcake design is another niche for me. Hehehe We'll see. In the meantime, feast your eyes on these.
The bedroom is that one place in our homes where we retreat in. Therefore it should be the most peaceful, relaxing and coziest area in the house. Bedrooms bathed in ambient and subdued lighting coupled with medium to dark color palettes are the most relaxing of all. This doesn't mean that light-colored bedrooms aren't relaxing, when you choose a light colored palette for your bedroom, it is best to play around with soft textures and warm colors to make it cozy. Here are some of the dreamiest bedrooms I've found scattered in portfolios of interior design firms all over the web.
Pantone has recently declared that the color for the year 2009 will be PANTONE® 14-0848 Mimosa. It is a very warm, vibrant yellow. It has been chosen because it is the color of hope in the time of economic recession. Quoted from the Pantone website: Best illustrated by the abundant flowers of the Mimosa tree and the sparkle of the brilliantly hued cocktail, the 2009 color of the year represents the hopeful and radiant characteristics associated with the color yellow. Mimosa is a versatile shade that coordinates with any other color, has appeal for men and women, and translates to both fashion and interiors.

I would like to greet everyone a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year! I hope everyone gets to enjoy the festivities of the season and spend it with loved ones. Indulge in the great food and have fun unwrapping gifts!
Thanks to Chris_J for the photo.

This is Kahlua, a pure bred beagle wearing her striped pink shirt proudly. She just gave birth to 4 pups about 3 weeks ago, we lost one in 3 days but the remaining pups are as healthy as can be.
These are Kahlua's pups, from left to right, Kimono, Kayenne and Kiera.
Now this one is Serene. She's a red and white siberian husky that I adopted. She's quite big now and always playful. I never tire of giving her a lot of toys.
Of course there's also Kiara. She's quite old, we've had her for 10 years now but I still love her dearly.
Plaid is everywhere this fall. Show us something made out of this classic fall fabric.
I saw this on Kid Continuity's photostream on Flickr. Check out his profile here.
I know I haven't been blogging lately and I haven't had a decent post in months. I've been too caught up with deadlines for my freelance and full-time work. My personal life is still hanging in the balance and I believe it's about to go up in smoke (great positive thinking right?). Plus my birthday is coming up in a week, I still don't know what I'll do..if I'll throw a party or not. I need a breather and I need an escape. But the escape I was planning is not even going to push through. Uhoh...the clutches of depression is taking ahold of me again. Nothing has been going right and it's been especially tough for me. Please, please let my luck change, I need something good to keep my sanity.
